MW.S is seeking an experienced Strategist to join our Studio on a project-to-project basis. The Strategist will be responsible for kicking off projects, leveraging data and trend analysis to set a clear plan of action in motion to inform direction and design.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy, working alongside members of the Studio to deliver relevant research and thought to inform early stages of design and direction
  • Work with audience listening tools to categorize demographics and generate target market research
  • Analyze trend reports, pulling together visual aids to support research and guide decision-making processes
  • Develop creative briefs, outlining the parameters of a given project, taking into account measures of success and priority messages to be communicated
  • Guide design and direction decision-making, keeping in mind Client interests and established expectations relevant to the Creative Brief and SOW
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, making sure deliverables and timelines are realistic, while planning ahead for unforeseen roadblocks or points of friction
  • Present ideas internally, backing up findings with well-designed visual aides and thoughtful commentary on relevant information

Qualification & Skills

  • 4+ years of strategy experience in a creative studio / agency
  • Ability to sift through massive amounts of information, connecting research and direction from multiple sources across industries that are relevant to the needs of a given Project
  • A data-oriented individual, paying specific attention to consumer behavior and market tendencies
  • Ability to think ahead and predict the needs of others, both Client and Internal
  • A refined knowledge of the design process within our Studio, with the ability to speak to executions surrounding web design, branding, ux/ui, motion design, strategy, production, and direction
  • Must be able to make Strategy interesting, bringing a level of relevance and urgency to any information shared or presented
  • Strong deck-building and copywriting skills, able to walk a group through complex and hard-to-understand concepts in a concise and engaging fashion
  • Experience with Audience Listening Tools a plus
  • Knowledge of Figma, Keynote, and Are.na a plus

MW.S is looking for young and talented individuals to join our Studio as an Intern. Our internship program operates as an apprenticeship, exploring different fields and areas of work to assess and refine individual strengths.

Responsibilities

  • Working hand-in-hand with members of the Senior staff across the Studio, assisting in project needs as outlined by Creative Brief and Brand Strategy
  • Participate in client calls and internal presentations
  • Assist in research and brainstorm periods of Client Projects
  • Work within a team of Strategists, Designers, Directors, and Managers to outline any problems of conflict and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Constant application of new tasks and obstacles to overcome
  • Internal presentation of research and ideas as it pertains to current projects

Qualifications & Skills

  • An innate passion surrounding all things design, art, culture, film, and fashion
  • A working knowledge of the Adobe Suite
  • Experience with Keynote, Figma, and Are.na
  • Proficiency in communication tools like Slack & organizational tools like Google Drive
  • Desire to constantly learn, try new things, and not be afraid to not know the best answer

MW.S is looking for an experienced Copywriter to join our Studio on a project-to-project basis. The Copywriter is responsible for working with the Strategy and Design teams to help fully realize concepts, lending to the narrative development and support of visual identities through inspiring and relevant messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Work with our Senior Strategist to develop brand manifestos, campaign narratives, and scripted messaging
  • Work alongside Senior Designers to iterate on digital messaging, from brand campaigns to PDPs and everything in between
  • Assist in developing case study assets, forming language needed to bookend projects across online platforms
  • Present messaging directions internally to relevant team members
  • Give accurate and timely status reports on progress

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of copywriting experience surrounding the creative studio / agency industry
  • Ability to recognize needs of the client as it pertains to the Creative Brief, adopting a voice and tone that is unique and individual to the project
  • A gifted communicator, able to explain very detailed information and complicated messages in as few words as possible
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to refine and iterate on concepts over multiple rounds of revision
  • A refined knowledge of the design process within our Studio, with the ability to speak to executions surrounding web design, branding, ux/ui, motion design, strategy, production, and direction
  • Ability to highlight distinct moments in projects, bringing attention to our decision-making process and selling concepts to a wide-audience
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in communication tools like Slack & organizational tools like Google Drive
  • Experience with Notion, Figma, and Keynote are a bonus
